I made a quick Shepherd’s pie, but after snacking on some of the ingredients as I cooked I found that I wasn’t all that hungry afterwards...

I’m going home to some leftover steak tips and roasted butternut that I was SUPPOSED to take to work with me for lunch today but forgot to.

If you ever want to make a cottage pie or shepherds pie into a Cumberland pie, just add cheese and breadcrumbs on top of the mashed potato.

I usually do add cheese, but I’ve been keeping the calories down these days and have been avoiding it. I’m down about 15 lbs, and want to keep going. Breadcrumbs seem like a great idea.

Pizza Night in the boatyard. Andy makes his own dough, uses a dehydrater to get it to rise in this cool outside air and bakes 6 or so pies. We come by with ingredients, sides and bottles of wine so over the course of a couple 3 hrs, most of the folks in the boatyard cycle thru and we’r e all caught up on projects, advice and gossip. Great for what would be a wasted Monday evening for me. :)
